2010 Cologne AWB Run 73km

Competition rules
The Cologne Run 73km will be organized on October 3, 2010 according to Kölner Verein für Marathon e. V. regulations on th basis of Deutscher Leichtathletik-Verband (DLV) e. V. and International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) rules as follows:
On the same day the athletes combine the 10km run, the half marathon, and the marathon consecutively. After finishing one competition they then line up within the flowing starting procedere of the following competition.
The net times will be accumulated. There is a transition tent in the starting/finish area for changing clothes after the competitions.
Women and men will be scored separately.
Entry requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age on race day (birthday in 1992 and older) and possess an official bib number and a chip.
Participant and time limits
The limit for participants of both ultra disciplines is a maximum of 200 runners.
Please note that, due to a strict timeframe, you are to complete the competitions within small time slots.
We of course aim to enable an unobstructed competition for all ultra starters. The marathon start will be the deciding factor. Directly after the start of the last runner from the last starting block the course has to be re-opened then for public traffic according to City of Cologne guidelines.
From experience we can add that the last runner crosses the starting line approximately 20 minutes after the first gun shot. We therefore recommend to leave the transition tent at 11.50 a. m. at the latest (may be subject to change).
